The Hybrid-edition offers the same basic technology
as the DMS 180 III, but in addition it has MPEG-2 encoder
and decoder chips, allowing for one camera of choice to
be recorded with highest broadcast MPEG-2 compression
quality with audio.
This Hybrid machine is an ideal solution for systems where
audio and DVD quality video of one channel is a must,
in addition to multiplexed recorder of another up to 17
cameras. Typical application are, but not limited to,
petrol stations, banks, retail shops, RSL clubs, and similar.
Cash registers or ATM data can easily be embedded into
the recording, allowing
for fast search based on transactions, amount or items
sold. Dallmeier's PView software can easily connect to
this hybrid machine and receive both formats, wavelet
and MPEG-2, seamlessly.
All other Dallmeier renown features and approvals are
applicable to this model too. This includes the UVV-Kassen
certification, Kalagate approval, the SEDOR
intelligent camera sabotage protection, dynamic fan control,
external and internal temperature monitoring, component
diagnostic, tamper and shock sensors, etc.
The Hybrid machine also runs on the proven Linux operating
software, offering uncompromised stability and longevity
of operation.
